Talent Impact

Readiness Is Currency.

At Capital Talent Development Group, we don’t manage struggle, we mobilize opportunity. We help employers, education systems, workforce partners, and communities develop skilled-ready talent by strengthening readiness, reducing early attrition, and supporting long-term mobility.   Fair access to opportunity is achieved by ensuring readiness is measurable, expectations are clear, and outcomes are tracked.

We strengthen alignment between talent capabilities and performance standards, so employer expectations and accountability are met from start to finish.  Every partnership centers on opportunity, preparation, structured implementation, and sustainable mobility.

Our Service Framework

▫️Workforce Readiness & Pre-Apprenticeships

Prepare youth and adults for critical, high-growth careers through structured readiness, pre-placement assessments aligned with employer expectations, and early career integration support.

▫️Organizational Alignment & Performance Standards

Strengthen accountability, clarify expectations, and improve performance consistency across teams and workforce initiatives.

▫️Retention & Workforce Continuity Planning

Reduce preventable turnover and stabilize talent pipelines through measurable retention checkpoints and workforce continuity planning.

We assess readiness gaps, alignment breakdowns, and retention risks, then implement practical systems that sustain quality performance.  When readiness and expectations are clear, performance strengthens, and organizations stabilize.

Building Workforce Readiness & Stabilization

Alanna Nicholas is Principal and Talent Executive at Capital Talent Development Group, where she designs, implements, and manages workforce solutions that help organizations improve retention, strengthen readiness, and create growth opportunities by integrating early-career talent.

Her work includes early-career pathway development, workforce strategy and implementation, and the management of government-funded programs and contracts. She works directly with employers, education, and workforce organizations to address the issues that affect whether people are prepared to enter the workforce, succeed once they arrive, and stay.

Alanna developed the Parachute Ready™ 3 A’s Framework: Adapt. Adjust. Align. to address the behaviors and decisions that influence readiness across education, training, and the workplace. The framework helps people adapt to change, make better-informed decisions, and align their actions with expectations.

Alanna earned a Master of Business Administration from Ursuline College and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work with a focus on macro practice from Cleveland State University. She is a Certified Public Manager from Cleveland State University and the National Certified Public Manager Consortium and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Alanna leads with one conviction: Readiness is currency.
